Housekeeping issues

So if anyone still needs a Tracystrong bracelet just let one of the family know.  There is no cost for them.  We aren't trying to raise money or anything, just show support for Tracy.  Secondly, We have made a website that has more information about Tracy as well as strokes.  Visit tracystrong.org to learn more.  The outpouring of support has been remarkable and it is very much appreciated.  She is coming home tomorrow the 10th.  It is very exciting.  She is so ready to be out of there.  She will continue to have therapy in the city 3 times a week.  They are also trying to qualify her for a study with a renowned speech therapist that works with people that have brain injuries.  That would be incredible for her.  Here is a little video of her to lift your spirits.

Reality check

We have reached the point of frustration. Tracy has been so strong and has recovered so quickly, except for her speech. It is driving her nuts. She understands what you say to her for the most part but she can't respond. She is growing increasingly frustrated. We just keep working with her and she is learning. She is most likely coming home on the 10th so that is a huge positive. Hopefully being at home will jump start the process.

So taxing

Tracy works hard every day. Especially mentally. She has to think so hard that by the end of the day she is miserable. Here is a cute picture of her curling up for a nap.
