After midnight she slept pretty good. She woul wake up and look over for me so I know that made her more confident. They kept a good eye on her.
The dr came on this morning and said they still don't know why she had the stroke. They are starting her on Coumadin and she can't take estrogen anymore
They said she will be in rehab for quite a while. But she did get frustrated a few times and started pounding the bed. We had a really good nurse. She started I v fluids and that helped too
She is back to sleep now
They gave her melatonin last night and that worked much better than the phentonal
Update on Tracy Luke-Rohrer . Mon the 18th her mom texted and said she was able to walk quite far with the help of the physical therapist helping with her right side. She was also able to understand a little bit of her. She asked "why no water" and her mom could understand that. They are still staying no food by mouth for now cause the swallow test didn't come back exactly like they wanted so she can have her mouth swabbed just not drinking yet. Which Tracy loves water so I am sure her mouth is so dry and just wants to drink something. She can have a purée of some sort so that is good. Please keep up the prayers, they are working. Maybe with her working this hard she will be moved to rehab sooner than we thought who knows. But so far she is being the champion that we all know and love. She is a fighter and won't quit so I know she can beat this with her friends praying for her and taking good care of her kids so she can fight like she needs to. We love you all and know you want to see her but just keep praying and let's not distract her and let her do the work she has to do to get better.

Tracy is on the Rehab Floor 2 at U of U Hospital. She is trying really hard today. It was a week Sunday that Tracy had her stroke. She has been able to be off of oxygen and most of her IV's. she is determined to be able to move, but so far the right arm is not responding. Her mind has a hard time processing and remembering, but we are going to have her back!!! Tracy's still there.....when you see her beautiful brown eyes looking at you with a smile in them...you know she's there!!
